So the add was a bit misleading, guy actually only had 5 bars, and no small off cuts, fought him down a bit from the agreed price (for 7 bars and off cuts), but still ended up paying 48c a lb.
ill sell it to you guys for 50c a lb rounded up to the nearest dollar, the bar lengths are as fallows, 16.25" , 19",18.5",17.75",18.75", its 2.55lbs per inch
As a result of only getting 5 bars i gotta cap it to 1 bar a person, 1 for janger (john), 1 for Tom Kitta (Tom), 1 for YYCHM (craig) and i am keeping the last 2
Doesnt matter to me who takes wich bars, ill leave that up to you guys
I have tested it with a file and taken a skim off the end of one in the mill, i belive them to be just plain old cold rolled a36, guy said they used them for a dumpster, i assume probably for the skids on the bottom, i cant see even the oilfield buying anything but the cheapest stuff for that (probably couldnt get hot rolled fast enough)
