  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Not much for pictures in the add. It would be nice to know if there were any steady or follower rests, chucks etc - some information on the size, power? Obviously a pretty good size machine.

Ought to have read the rest of the add! Perhaps a 24” swing? Power is complicated.

I would like to upgrade my lathe but not with that one. The electrics look odd to me, and the deal killer is no DRO
 
Reminds me a bit of this $2500 used lathe for sale that the owner describes thusly: "Great little lathe everything works"

I'm always hesitant to check such sellers other ads, lest I find bags of human excrement for sale labeled as "fresh organic fertilizer."

We have fresh developments in the sale of this "Great little lathe" It now comes with "4 dog chuck and 3 dog chuck. New extra dc motor and controls " and has been reduced from $2500 to the nice round figure of $1470!

I'm sure it's worth every penny after viewing these freshly added pics:

IDK about you, but I'd be asking for a 30 day warranty if I were going to consider purchasing this lathe.
