24” Box and Pan Break $100

Jeepers. I’d buy that but it would cost a fortune to ship

I wonder how much it would be to ship...
Sucker is $500 at KMS

Anyone used one of these? Just my opinion, but it looks very flimsy. I built one, photos below, its good with smaller 18 gauge pieces but would struggle to handle a full width of 18 gauge. Just saying, if unfamiliar with brakes, its really surprising how solid a machine you need to bend any thickness. It might be fine for somethings, or what you want it for, but eyes wide open before spending a lot on gas or shipping. Shot of the finished brake, apart to show construction (cross pieces are heavy channel) ....and for kicks, my other brake when something bigger is needed :)

I have the smaller 12” version. Gets a few hours use a month. I make electronic enclosures using 16ga aluminum sheet. Fit and finish is rough, but adequate for the stuff I do.

My guess the 24” would be ok for light use, as long as you stay close to the factory ratings it will work fine.
