  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Is anybody from calgary going to Vancouver Island? And also to Ontario.? I have a box of plastic fastener sizers to send out west and east for the members and possibly lathe chuck keys if anybody wants to buy any.

@Susquatch i do have 12 or so 3/8 and 12 M10 chuck keys and a few in the other sizes m11x,12,13,14,15,16mm

How be I send you $150 or so and you send me whatever number of wrenches plus shipping that covers. If you make it a reasonable distribution of sizes, I'll do the same as you at our next meetup here in Niagara Falls. Maybe I'll include a short demo too.

How big is the pack of fasteners I’ll be in Victoria Friday for a couple days but I’m just doing a packsack for carry on

the date/time hasnt been fully confirmed yet, but its looking like july 12, it will be at a members shop in Chestermere

Tom,thanks so much for trying to give me a hand.
The fastener gauges for @David to distribute are in a box about 10”x10”by 3”. Plastic so pretty light. If I only end up with yotabota wanting any chuck keys then I would like to remove some gauges for his 2 chuck keys. That sound ok? I’ll confirm in a couple days and drop off a box at your shop later next week. ?
 
I should be ok with the 10x10x3 package I’m only there for 3 days so I can pack fairly light I’m flying under the store it under the seat plan.
 
@Janger - I haven't heard from anyone else wanting a key so I'm it. I'll be away probably until Sunday or Monday but David will hang on to the keys for me. I'll square up with you when I get back if that's okay.

@Tom O - Thanks very much for being able to bring the parts.
