  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

If I hadn't just bought my Craftex CT-041 (for considerably more $), I'd be on the road to Edmonton.

Speaking for myself, I am also not on Facebook. Once in a while a deal like this will tempt me a little, but a few deep breaths while sitting cross legged on a Persian rug, arms outstretched and middle finger lightly pressed against my thumb......... And..... All good again. :rolleyes:
 
Sorry @JustaDB - I ass-u-med someone would’ve already messaged you by the time I saw your post.
I can relate to your “no FB” philosophy. I was the same but relented since FB seems to be the go-to place to advertise.
I limit my exposure to marketplace only. I’m not sure how to contact a seller without going through the FB App.
 
I did look as well but didn't see any contact info and have all but given up on FB marketplace as 99.975% of the people I have messaged for machine tools were scammers
