  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. I would, but right now i’m looking out the windows at a fly-in fishing lodge 300km north of Vancouver. The commute to Mission would be a little tricky. We have wifi but no roads.
 
Well, at least your excuse is a worthy one.... If I was closer I would grab it and hold it for you.... It looks like a nice machine that probably has a fair bit of tooling and materials that may go with it ....

I was thinking the same regarding the variable speed. It would be nice to be able to step up the speed on the fly especially while facing a bigger piece.
 
Good price for a good lathe if the VS is working right...this is at least a 1PH as converting a 3PH to 220v is a bear.
 
I saw this one when it was listed. Fantastic price for this lathe. He could have easily got more than twice that.
