  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Missing power feed, but a good project!

I came pretty close, but was able to resist the temptation. The fact that I barely have room to move in my garage also helped. It's been listed for a while, so he might be motivated...

It is so cheap b/c its craigslist and no one in Canada uses that - if it was posted on FB marketplace or Kajiji it would be gone under 60 min.

Anyone in the area should pick it up immediately. At this price it is free. Most similar size shapers sell for well over 1000.
 
If I didn't already have 12" & 16" ones I would have had it home by now....... Surprised that it's still available, not many have been listed the past few years.

I agree on the pick it up. But around here Craigslist is the go to marketplace. On Kijiji you only get ads, or stuff available in Quebec. (paid placement?)

I'm headed to Vancouver Nov. 6 and might have to give into temptation if it's still available. Otherwise I'll take it as a sign. (from my wife, perhaps)
 
I was the 3rd person on the guys the list within 30 minutes of the posting. Some lucky trigger boy got that one. Would have been a great project.
