Sigh. Google image search, using the photo of the patent plate.

Sadly, I tried exactly that (among other things) and failed to turn up anything. Google prolly knows I'm not happy........

But again, good on you for finding that!

This morning I received an email notice from a free trade magazine I subscribe to. I clicked on a link to an article I thought might be interesting. Got a pop up asking if I agreed to share my information with their 886 partners…
I didn’t think the article would be so interesting after all.
I mean, really? 886?!

You may already know this, but I NEVER click on links in emails or txt messages. Instead I go to the desired website myself.

The problem with txt and email links is that they are often fake. Clicking on the link can load malware. They can also be crooks pretending to be the real thing asking you for ID and passwords. The can even make fake websites that look genuine. But when you login, your credentials are stolen and you could end up broke.

Gosh, why do they have women’s cosmetics right at the door, so you have to walk through lotions and potions to get to the stuff you want?
And this is just after you left the clinic, with your prescription in your hand. The same clinic that has a sign declaring that they are a scent free zone. I refuse to go into any SDM.
Also, ironically, I used to work for a guy that had a contract with them. A consultant was hired to tell them how to increase revenues in their stores. Some how they missed the stink at the door driving the customers away and said they needed higher ceilings. So the boss made millions lifting roofs, services and ceilings in dozens of thier locations.

Google would suck the snot out of a dead mans nose for a profit, so I don't use them.
But all the bitching and whimpering about the net is kinda silly to us who were mechanics before the internet and Youtube. It is a wonderful tool.
Before the net, I would write a letter to a company asking for a Ford bushing to support the cab. In a month they would write back and tell me they could not help me unless I had a part number. Then I would try to find a mechanic who would give me the part number, and he would look at me as if I stole the bread from his children. The odd one would be helpful and even tell you where to write away and get the best price. Now, you just click on it and it is delivered....as long as you know what to call the widget.

This has been my bitch with OBS cars and their code readers. The bloody pair of them know what the problem is, they just choose to offer you choices, so you can spend several visits to the blank stare of the parts store......
I saw a tee shirt that I need to have..... It says " I have neither the patience nor the crayons to explain this any further"....

The internet only want 2 things your time and your money.
The content you want won't load but the 4 ads around it load and refresh 3 times.
Side banner ads on both sides flashing whatever and your content is in #2 font.
Porn site algorithms
Online flyers
Sponsored!
only 2 links from a search are relevant.
the same site is repeated 10 times in one search
not being able to be as incognito online
Too many useless apps.
Same story is page one on one news site and never even mention on another.
Vast wastelands of sites that lack facts.
Having to save your country and currency often and it reverts back to Finland?
and the worst thing about the internet is people get their self worth and attention from it.

This is going to be harsh but honest: anybody who willingly subjects themselves to Gaggle deserves very bit of pain they experience. You are tracked, marketed, targeted, misled and outright lied to. Stop using them. The reason you can find stuff today, couldn't yesterday & won't tomorrow is because they are always screwing with their algorithms, trying to figger a new way to track, market, target, mislead & lie to you. They are agenda driven and have no, zero, desire to be unbiased.

1. DuckDuckGo used to be good, but they now track you, despite their claims to the contrary.
2. Knowing my hate for anything M$, Bing is out.
3. Yahoo? Pulease...
4. I used to use Startpage before DDG. Don't know what they're like now.
5. I'm unsure about Brave yet. I've used them a bit but that's all.
6. I've used Yandex some. It appears to be the most currently unbiased search engine I use. If I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere else, I often find it there.
7. I've tried Quant with some success. However, it often echoes the same limited results the more mainstream search engines return.
8. I recently downloaded Luxxle & am giving it a try.
9. STOP USING GAGGLE!!!
