The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. I've had this for a while now, never used, just sitting around the shop. I had to assemble it for the picture! Apologies for the blurry picture.

Don't have one but would love one @Dabbler. 1 ton is perfect for my needs since I do have a 20 ton Hydraulic press (and a tractor for more for those few times 20 wasn't enough). How would we ship it for less than a new one at PA?

I just don't think we can. It is too big and weighs a little too much for cheap shipping. If you wait, they go on sale for about 80 dollars. I happened to pay full price, but that's my problem.

I'd like to see it go to a good home, but probably since yours is the only interest, I'll sell it faster on kijiji.

You are probably right. Too bad.

I'll try to watch the PA sale flyer a bit closer from now on.
