  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     Is there a floor drain hidden under the vinyl? I have about 1-1/2” in 12’ slope in my basement to feed the floor drain: made shimming the raised floor I put in what is now the office interesting.

    They weren't concerned with them speeding (probably had a hard time getting above 35 MPH), they were ticketing for being overloaded. The bug issue was handled by the Farm Show people inspecting the incoming loads.

    I think it was the Boy Scouts who used to sell firewood at the PA Farm Show as a fundraiser; the firewood was at a very good price and folks piled as much as they could in their pickups. Unfortunately for them, the PA State Police set up check points on all roads about a mile away from the event...

    Mine only had ~ 60K on it when it was totaled; I’d have to scan a photo of what it looked like after it rolled into the ditch (surprisingly calm as I sat there waiting for things to stop spinning & rolling, and I was talking to 911 - hanging upside down - before the witnesses got to me).
