I was expecting it to be a bit smaller too, until she told me it was 60” high. I wasn’t up for getting it out of the work van on my own, so I decided to get it out with the forklift, and sort out some wheels.

A long afternoon, but… Two. Hundred. Dollars. I was the second person to contact her. I messaged at 5:30, heard back ‘In talks, will let you know’ at 10:30, this past Monday. Friday afternoon she messaged ‘Are you still interested?’ Am I?! She did, unfortunately, forget to mention it...

Tool I beat Tom Lipton to it!

I'll second the toe jack, especially for confined spaces, where a prybar isn't really practical. I bought a Vevor one (2.5 tonnes on the toe) to move the lathe in, and it was invaluable. Shop it seems simple, but I need help........ Hammer organization

    Need some Lathe Work

While the original post might have just slipped under the radar, I think John’s questions get at the core of things. While I’m sure there are hobby shops that could hit that ID (say, +/- 0.0005”) over the whole length of the part, most would probably struggle. Could, for example, the ends of...

    Electrical help.

I would really love someone to start making cheap and identical copies of the Miller wireless pedal, because the second hand one I have has been flawless.
