  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    I'll post the stl file today and then post the link here in the thread. I'll take a stab at an MT3 design really quickly too. I just used 15%, I did increase the perimeters to 4 though. it's also just printed in PLA.

    That's a good question actually, I have never thought about that. Oil shouldn't be a problem along as long as it doesn't have any detergents in it I would think.

    My Prusa mk3 is very much setup and forget. it's what I use for most things. my enders are more for specialty things cause I can customize them for certain jobs. if you want something to just work, buy a Prusa printer but know you will be paying for that just works quality.

    I am totally one of those people. it's really about peace of mind, I don't have to worry that the 14 hour print I'm going to start is going to have adhesion issues 4 hours in. In the end l, it's all up to personal preference though. everyone should have a printer. the ender 3 line is a great...
