Shop Now THIS is a Full Shop!

Unfortunately no one I know knows anything about metal working. The wife has a pretty good handle on what everything is and what its worth on the wood working side of the shop. On my list of things to do, both for insurance and if I kick off early, is to make a list of all my tools and...

Shop Now THIS is a Full Shop!

It really made me think that if something unexpectedly happened to me that my wife and kid wouldn't know what everything was or what it was worth. Electric heater question

That's one of the up sides of a small shop I have one of those portable standing ac units that has the big hose that runs to a window. Doesn't take up much space and is just powerful enough to cool the shop down when it's really hot out. Though to be honest the shop stays pretty cool for the...

    Electric heater question

I wouldn't ever chance it. When I'm standing next to my burnt down house is not the time I want to find out that I am not covered because I didn't disclose installing a wood stove. All because I wanted to try to save a few bucks trying to game the system. After all like you said there is almost...

Let's undertake yet another project - Jackson No. 2 Vertical Milling Machine

As long as it has a concrete floor most condos I have seen have wood floors. You got me wondering now what amount of weight do they design residential floors to be able to safely support?
