    What's Paul up to?

[Pulling this over from the DRO thread so I can find it later] I'm lacking in pretty 3D models, but I did get my cross-slide DRO scale tidied up today. The tape is in a new within the dovetail slot. I had to extend the slide a little bit to get a full reading with the read head placed in the...

    Tips/Techniques Urban and traffic planning

I did not enjoy my two years in Kitchener, late last decade. The inability to go east, or return from there, in any sort of decent time was certainly part of it. Keep your highways.

    Refining/reclaiming gold for inlay question

If you're assembling simple logic next to a microcontroller you can likely do it with a pretty small...

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

I did a pile of prototypes a while back with 0402 components. Squeeze some solder paste onto a toothpick, drop it on the pads, place the component with clean tweezers, repeat. Then drop the whole thing onto a hot plate (I have a scrap pan I use on a cooktop) until the paste flows. Sometimes...

netflix you suck almost as bad as twitter

Seriously, the guy is 58. Jake Paul is 27. I'm sad Tyson didn't bite off his nose, but the outcome is reasonable.

Power failures pick the worst time, without fail

Jebus. Only 3-5 here, a little east of you. But seriously, don't you all come here to retire in Victoria. It's an ugly rainy nasty hellhole. Terrible place. Stay away. Yes, you. Really.
