    EMCO Maximat 13 Update

Another update on the Maximat 13. I have finished up the work on the tailstock. I had to fabricate the aluminum pinch clamps to replace the fabricobbbled setup. Added an actual lever arm to the base clamp and of course the base clamp also had to be machined.

Anyone ever come across Milwaukee mag drill ?

Occasionally,at auction you can find a decent mag drill for a reasonable price. I purchased a Magtron MBQ100 from an oilfield electrical company that was going out of business. It looked rough and had a couple broken knobs on the handles but it did not let out any of that magic smoke when...

    Transformer

I considered changing the motor, but since it is a two speed motor, there is a considerable amount of electronics tht would also need to be changed. Also I would lose the brake on the motor. The electricsl system on the Emco is somewhat complicated and there is quite a bit that would need to...

    Palmgren lathe milling attachement

I have a nearly new Palmgren 250 lathe milling attachment that I have never used. It came with my Hercus 9" lathe. It does not appear to have been used more than a couple times. I have it on Kijiji in Regina for $250 but for the members here I would sell it for...
