    Real estate listings suck

Some of these agents are very skilled at reading people. Let's face it most of us only buy/sell a few times in our life, we plain and simple lack experience. A career agent has dozens or hundreds under their belt. When I think back to my first vs. last dealings with an agent I was much much...

    Real estate listings suck

That's an interesting observation and that tactic is very common. We actually looked at a house in our neighbourhood and did not make an offer, within a day one of our neighbours purchased the house, the agent told them we made an offer. They were really pissed when they found out the truth...

    Happy Fathers Day

I have a General tap wrench, and I'm very happy with it, excellent quality. I threw all the crappy ones that I had acquired over the years in the crappy tool bin after using the General. Then I purchased a Starrett wrench for larger taps, the Starrett is a thing of beauty after using it I threw...

Back in the 70's before seatbelt laws, I didn't wear my seatbelt most of the time. I was coming home from work it was dark in winter. There was a shortcut route I could take through what was about to be a new development so no houses yet, but the streets were all paved and no cars, and no...

I have a great brother but he did test me. One thing he would do in front of his friends for their entertainment was the limbo, he would grab me and manipulate me so I was bent over backwards in the limbo position and somehow I was always able to get myself straightened up and out of the limbo...

Yes safer than many activities for example scuba diving. Stats are 10 per 3.6 million jumps. Picking a good school can further change those odds in your favour. We avoided the school north of GTA at the time they used antiquated equipment and had a poor safety record. The school we chose had no...

    Looking into 3d printing

David. Thanks for this recommendation. I'm really happy with this printer so far. + I have only printed about 15-20 items so far with PLA and PETG however the results are quite good. + The convenience and easy loading of multiple filaments is a worthy improvement over my old Prusa. + Dryer ++...

    Really ?

My point exactly, I think many of this cohort were coddled to the point that they have learned near zero street smarts. Hopefully they will experience enough close calls that they will eventually grow up. Reminds me of the tourist in South Africa that got out of the car in a nature reserve and...

    Really ?

About five years ago I had a nasty spill on my mountain bike. I was on a paved path through the forest going fast. Ahead with his back towards me was one of those zombie people with big headphones on. As I was about to pass him he suddenly made a sudden step left into my path, no choice but to...
