  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     Finally broke down and made a tool height adjuster. Funny how a simple project can consume a few hours on the lathe. It's made from a piece of 1 1/2" hydraulic rod. Final diameter is 1 1/4" Hardest part was getting thru the chrome layer. Fortunately a CBN insert did the job.

    I have a Ridgid cordless and have never experienced draw down, never actually thought about it. The batteries, drill and charger are guaranteed for life so I'm not concerned about it.

    I believe the weight of the tractor is around 1200 lbs.. If you look at the bottom left of the picture I have a cross member which locks into a couple of notches. This allows me to release the hydraulics and the the whole table relazes
