  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. Wanted: CNC Mill

I've spent quite a bit of time looking for a smaller vmc (around 6k lbs) and every now and then something comes up but never that cheap.. At least in this part of the world. Pretty interesting old Colchester video

I don't think I'll ever see any of these machines on the real world, and it's amazing how old this video is and how impressive the manufacturing process was at that point.

    FRV30-200 (RF45) for sale

Since I now have a Tormach in my basement I don't think I'm going to need this mill (although the inner packrat in me wants to..). New to me Tormach PCNC770

So a few weeks ago I found a Tormach for sale and decided I would add it to the collection. The machines original owner passed away, but he was the first owner and was a EDM machinist so it seemed reasonable to expect it would be in good shape. The machine overall is. in fact, in good shape. It...
