  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     Any recommendations on taps this size? Drill America on Amazon has a 3 piece set with the different tapers for just under $100....but anything else out there at a reasonable price? It's the standard speaker pole thread size, just need to do a couple holes to make some adapters.

    Oh, that's neat. Would be really handy for my portaband on a table...I have a little GE switch thingy that goes on the plug, but having that wireless near me would be more convenient.

    You can turn on subtitles by hitting the "cc" button (or c on your keyboard) that YouTube provides :) But adding some text on screen with models and values does make sense, I actually did more of than in my latest video on the impacts, will try to continue to do that more in the future.
