    Replacement bandsaw blades

That's the exact saw I have. I bought it a few years ago from PA and now they have discontinued it and the blades which is why I made my own. Its a pretty decent little saw and works a lot better with a quality blade. I am looking to add some mods to the vise to make it closer to the blade for...

    Princess Auto in Calgary Moving

That new location will be bad for me, much closer to home and easier to pop in to go shopping.

    Replacement bandsaw blades

I got the solder and flux as a kit from Lee Valley Tools. They also sell a blade alignment jig. Of course they are marketing their product more for wood working bandsaws, but it works just the same for metal blades. I did grind a bevel on the blade ends freehand and had no trouble doing it that...

    Replacement bandsaw blades

My saw also uses an odd length blade and I have not been able to find any pre-made ones. the last ones I got were nearly $30 each. I bought the 100' roll of Starrett bandsaw blade from KBC, then bought a silver solder kit and made a blade soldering jig from some aluminum. I now have enough stock...

To Anyone that buys from ENCO in US..

I never have ordered anything from Enco. I looked at them for some items, but in the end the shipping and exchange made it too costly to bother. I have been going to KBC tools for most of my stuff now. They are excellent to deal with, ship quickly and at decent costs. They have a lot of their...

    New Firepower TIG/Stick welder

It's working quite well for my needs. It is a 110v only welder, that means it has less output amperage and limits the thickness of material that it can weld. That is fine for me, I can weld heaver steel with my MIG and doubt I'll ever need to weld aluminum over 1/8". If they still have the deal...

    New Firepower TIG/Stick welder

To be honest, there wasn't so much design put into it as evolution. I just kept rearranging things as I needed. But it is pretty functional now. I have had a bit of time to play around with the welder. For never having used TIG before, I'm finding it relatively straight forward with mild...

The paint was a lucky match for colour; it was just Krylon rust paint from Canadian tire.

    New Firepower TIG/Stick welder

KMS tools had this little unit on sale this month with an additional reduction for the three day sale. It's a Firepower 140 TIG/ Stick welder and came with the optional foot pedal as well. Seems like a perfect little unit to supplement my Miller 211 MIG. I won't need it to weld much over 1/8...
