    New 10" X 54" mill ordered.

Awesome, thanks for letting us join in the adventure! I for one have learned a lot from your documentation and details, it's amazing how anything reaches its final destination in reasonable time given all the many layers of transportation and logistics involved! I'll be watching for pictures...

    New vise for the mill

That is awesome, even a Kurt "blemish" is better than some of the stuff that is labelled "high-quality" from certain other regions of this planet!

    Looking for a corner notcher

They are a great tool for their purpose, we had one in the high school shop where I taught. Granted, my students thought it was a specially made "throwing star making machine," so it needed close monitoring, lol

    Finally found one…

Awesome! I have a small 12x18 workshop grade plate but yours is the real deal! Nice score!

    PA 2 ton gantry assembly

I appreciate the offer but I pretty much gave up on that one. I have another idea in mind now, for even less than the sale price one. It wasn't a total need of it per se but one of those "would be nice to have" things. I was just less than happy with PA at the time for not honoring what they...

    PA 2 ton gantry assembly

I had one of the one ton units on backorder and eventually cancelled the order. Be careful with PA giving you a cheap freight quote, that's what they did to me too and then backed out on their quote after I placed the order on their website. They refused to ship it without me paying hundreds...

    KBC brand measuring tools?

I got a DTI from them after my previous one met an untimely and gruesome death when it still happened to be attached to the mill quill with a homemade Indicol . . . The KBC DTI has been very good for me so far, no complaints. Got a set of adjustable parallels from them, standard Chinesium, they...

    ER 32 Collet Question

A few of us made that mistake when first on the milling machines at our NAIT night school courses. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until the instructor, with a chuckle, showed me what the issue was. I had never used ER collets before, either. Sounds like it is a very common rookie...

    Canadian Hobbyist YouTubers

Very true, and he does seem to be an intelligent fellow, but I can't watch his stuff with the kids or wife around . . . I like how James Clough referred to AvE's channel in mentioning that, "his wife didn't like it as much and that she could not employ a bench vise in the properly prescribed...

    Canadian Hobbyist YouTubers

Out of curiosity, who do you all watch on YouTube as far as Canadian YouTubers? No, I'm not looking for any special treatment here, especially as I haven't put anything out in over 2 months, and the fact that I'm just an auto mechanic who dabbles in this whole metal cutting addiction. I would...
