    What is more valuable?

This thread reminded me of a joke. A 90 year old man that’s quite famous marries a beautiful 24 years old. He’s being interviewed and of course the conversation eventually turns to his new wife and eventually the interviewer asks the question everyone wants to know about: “What about sex, um...

    What is more valuable?

I definitely think health first!!! As someone who has been periodically chased by the dogs of depression, once the desire to be in the workshop has decreased just seeing my tools not being used makes things worse. So it wouldn’t matter if my shop was bigger, without health it’s going to feel...

    Brent Builds!!

Oh boy, I’m so envious! Good for you that you’re following your dream. I’m stuck in the middle of Winnipeg with a workshop in the basement. At least if I get my body sent up to Churchill I’ll be able to be re-animated one day if someone wants a laugh…

    Aluminum Chips press?

Aluminum chips make me think of rocket fuel… Mix a few other chemicals in before pressing and you’ll be good for July 1st next year… (This is a joke of course, but it was the first thing that came into my mischievous mind)

    Old blueprints/wall art

My favourite is printed on linen. I saw plans for a 100’ish year old school on linen that we’d been sent to turn into Floorplans. At school we were given “mime-o-graph” reproductions, I can still imagine the wonderful smell now…

Shop Potential modification of Shop Crane for parallel feet

I REALLY liked your suggestion, so I drew it up to see what it would look like. Much better than my first design. This is with the feet moved together as close as they can be (600mm in my model): And then the feet moved out to what I would guess is the maximum width: Above has about 250mm...
