    Making a grain mill

    The best commercial roller we had here on the farm and used for 1000's of bushels of cattle feed had the rolls grooved like a power take off shaft ( only finer sized grooves...think of Marlin microgroove rifling). The two rolls meshed together and seemed to grab the grain kernels more...

    another very fine "pop" finish that is easily done in a hobby shop setting is jeweling ...a bench drill and a couple dremmel tool wire brushes (the ones shaped like a pencil, not the wheel variety) or a couple pencils with grinding compound imbedded into the eraser will do a stand out job.
