I recently found that ‘photo’ (jpg) files, are not attachable to conversations in April 2025. They are attachable to this conversation that was initiated back in March 2025. Is this what others have been experiencing ?

We used ‘polyurethane foam insulation’ on some applications to muffle noise. Probably would not stand up to hot areas in the engine compartment, but, the foam has good structural properties for stiffening purposes. One neighbour has used it to reinforce his GLIDER segments.

Hey, don’t over do it !! Recovery is a slow process. Build stability and strength slowly. As we age, the recovery process should be slower to avoid further damage. Easy does it . . . Progress is better over a period of time.

If you are milling any of the UHMW make sure you have the piece butted up against a fixed stop. The waxy film will cause a piece in a vise to ‘slide’ during the vibrations of the cutting process. It can be very little, but, you will wonder why you are out a several thou, because the friction...

I you still have them until Mid-March, I may be able to use them on my HYPER-FIT porta band. I am currently in NZ and the Kiwi’s are telling us to stay (while the USA realizes their mistake). If you find a buyer don’t wait for me.

Yes, I ended up getting ‘Pulse Width Modulators’ as well. I like the fact that there is less wasted energy to heat. But I may be talking out of terms, I am a mechanical technologist. My son (Electrical Controls Specialist) would be able to translate.

I saw these items from Amazon on that you had. They look very much like some potentiometers I bought to control the speed of some mini DC motors that I had put into an actuator setup.
