Good morning…. Any chance in your “clear out” that you might have any machine levelling feet? Just a shot in the dark. Thanks. Derek

Hello from Victoria

Amateur at the age of eighty, just finished building a tiny shop in a

7 by7 garden shed. Room for my Taig micro mill and lathe plus drill press, rotary

tool and metal saw. This forum looks like a great place to get some education.
Finished the X Y, & Z DRO scales on my mill. I say finished, but I should say they are working. Very happy. Not jealous of others anymore. Working on taxes again and whenever I can slip away I putsy around a bit with my tool post spindle motor.
First time posting in this section. Seems a bit awkward.

Feeling hen pecked right now. Rather be working on the Z-Axis for my DRO. Won't be able to touch it till Sunday. :(

Jealous of @ShawnR right now.

Working X, Y & Z DRO now. I think a spindle motor tool holder just made it to the top of my list!
Good morning Peter,
I was reading your post re the better ball oilers that Stefan G. was using on his mill. I was trying to find the reference for those but could not find anything. I have a project that requires a few of these ball oilers and would be happy to get a better alternative to the offshore products. Would you recall the link or company that sells those better oilers.
Thank you,
Stefan Frey

Nope, I considered it but the Hendey is more my thing price wise since I might be able to break even selling my current machine.

I had a nice chat with Peter this afternoon. Just gotta figure out the when of picking it up. I can tow it and U haul trailers are cheap so the logistical details are no problem.

great about the Hendey - glad to see it find a home

Yup, seems like a great machine. My friend here in Hamilton has a similarly heavy, small work envelope, tool room type lathe at home. I’ve used it and it blows my Churchill away.
Did you still want the dial Mitutoyo Dial Indicator.? I was waiting for you to message me when you were coming to pay and pickup?
Currently rebuilding a colchester student 13x24 lathe. Pieces all over the house and cottage(shop is at the cottage).

Also have a brown and sharpe no2 surface grinder. Early 1900s. And a sajo uf52 horizontal mill. Nothing running right now as the lathe is in pieces, I'm planning on going over the surface grinder and I need a phase converter for the mill.... and there is 2 feet of snow in front of the shed door lol
I am in Sherwood Park, by Edmonton. I have a lot of flutes and enough African Blackwood to be able to part with some if you get to flutes and pipes.

Another Sherwood Park guy?? I am in Glen Allan. Perhaps we should get together some time and tour each other's shop. Ian Moss

I have since got a hold of him and have paid for the chuck, so you can mark your advert as sold!

Thanks for your help!
Morning. Hope your doing well.

I’m hoping you might be able to help me out. I am looking into an auction for a mini mill in Aylmer. How close is Aylmer to you. If my bidding gets serious, and if I need it, would you be able to take a look at the mill for me?

Thanks.
Not sure if I will get it. Someone has been bumping my bids, and I have just about reached my max. I’ve got my fingers crossed, I’m currently winning,
Auction ends on the 19th, with pick up on the 20th.
I’ll let you know as things progress.

I hope you get your wish! Can we know what kind of factory it is? Machining business?

Hi @a smile. I guess I don't understand your question. Probably a translation issue. What factory are you asking about? My old job or some new adventure?
