WTB: Some 3.5” ID DOM - Calgary

Member
Hi All,

I’m looking to buy a short length (1”-2”) of DOM with a maximum ID of 3.5” and enough wall thickness to hit 4” OD. I’ll root around in MSM‘s scrap bin next time I‘m in town but that’s always an expensive hit-or-miss proposition.

Cheers,

Steve

If you are in the Edmonton area I can supply a length of 4" or 5" OD 4140 steel shaft if that would work for you.

I just checked my stash and there is a 26" long piece of seamless tube that measures .010" under 3.5" ID and .005" overy 4" OD but it's in Edmonton. If you're desperate I can cut off a piece and mail it to you

My first response was necessarily terse: he lives south of Calgary, so if he happens to come to Calgary we can see what we can do. Until then, it is enough to know there are options available should he still need it when in Calgary.
