  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. I would like some input from anyone who has a fiber laser unit, the one I am interested in is the cleaner/welder ones.
Continuous output ones are rated from about 1000-4000 watts and are mostly from the far east available on Amazon and Aliexpress with prices ranging from about $4500- $45000.
Are there any Canadian or even N. American dealers where I can get some solid pricing and unit specs from.

Not sure what that means.

We just imported and installed a 12,000 watt laser. Compared to made in China models with local representation, I'd put it as somewhere less than half the cost. It's riskier importing, but you will pay a significant premium for local representation.
