  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

New to this forum and am enjoying it tremendously. All the members are so knowledgeable and helpful , I hope to make it my second home.
I am currently looking for some Metal Fabrication equipment such and an English Wheel, Metal Foot Shear, Metal Punch etc., as well as hand tools like slappers, dollies and so on. Thank you in advance.
 
Welcome. Any chance you are looking for a metal shrinker/stretcher set? I have a next-to-new set with foot stand in Calgary. Not sure where you are, but it looks like I MAY have another one coming in and I certainly don't need two. I won't know for a day or so if my buddy is giving me his set, but if he does this one is up for grabs...

Than you for responding to my listing. I am located in London Ontario. Just wondering what brand they were. I had a terrible time with some princess auto items I bought a few years ago. Would the stand disassemble? How much are you asking for the item. Many thanks.

They are the PA brand in fact, so you're probably not interested. I'm way out west in Calgary, so shipping would kill you. On the positive side there is so much more stuff in Ont. than Alberta. I doubt you will have any problem sourcing good stuff.
