I am looking for the Atlas 7B Shaper Rotary Table, S7-420

It’s very shallow due to the limited work height from table to ram.

Also looking for the Atlas 7B Shaper indexer

I hope you don't mind a suggestion on your classified ad. If you do, I'll delete it.

I have not had any luck looking for the rotary table and indexer for my AAMCO 7" shaper.

For the number of times they might be used, I'm thinking about getting a 4" aluminium table off of Ali Express and making the indexer.

That’s good advice, I may just go that route.
I know the odds of finding the original Atlas accessories are between slim and none, and as the old saying goes….slim just left town.

Meh. Took me a bunch of years looking to finally hook up with a set of index centers for my Aamco Shaper. Had a fella offer to sell me one still in the original packaging, but at a price that was substantially more than I paid for the shaper.... Passed on that....

Gonna suggest that you keep some fairly broad search terms in mind(eg: Rotary Table, with the search set to "Used"), so that you get the results that are not necessarily related to "Atlas", as you search, and keep some images handy to use as reference. In my case, I was simply scanning through the listings on ebay, looking for the mounting stud that Aamco used to attach the unit to the table (very distinctive, vs. the regular tee-slot bolt on mounts). The seller did not know what the set was from, but I did!

Further to that, if you have a decently set up shop, make one from scratch. There are any number of sets of published designs out there, plagiarize the best parts from any that you see.

etc.

That's a similar approach to what I did when I found the tailstock to match my Hardinge dividing head. I had actually gotten a lead on a different one, which was in much worse condition, and while doing my due diligence anti-scam check (read as Google reverse image search) I stumbled upon an ebay listing for one in better condition and for $10 USD cheaper, which was listed as a generic lathe tailstock.

If you keep an eye out for these sorts of things you'll eventually stumble upon one.

Edit: Another good place to mention that you're looking for one is on groups.io (I assume that there is one for Atlas shapers). Sometimes people just have these sorts of things lying around and they just haven't gotten around to selling them.

I am a member of the Atlas Shaper and Atlas Horizontal Milling Facebook sites, unfortunately both sites are plagued by scammers trying to sell complete machines to parts, often the rare bits, and both are American based with typical stupid asking prices, but I do follow them daily just in case...
