Walter Rotary Table 12 inch, $200, Ottawa, ON

Hell, yeah, that’s a good deal! West German made.

Sure seems to be a lot of nice machines and tooling out of Ottawa recently.

I would have guessed 12” from proportions, but just looked at my 12” Walter and it has a different pattern of t-slots. Fwiw.

The two best work aids we bought in the machine shop I last worked in, were a hydraulic lift wheelie cart, that allowed us to slide the heavy stuff off a shelf, and raise it up to table level on the mill, and a Sky-Lift crane, that made changing chucks on the bigger lathes, a no-risk event. We had to weight the dolly that the Sky-Lift was on with several hundreds of pounds of weight, but it was still easy to roll around the fairly level floor.

I've always wanted a 12. Mine is a 10. I'd happily sell it to get this one instead. But Ottawa is just too far for me.
