Not really what I need, too big, a bit expensive, and I don’t do much woodworking. But it’s 100 years old, and I wish I will look this glorious when I’m a similar vintage. Old iron is beautiful.

I know, right! ....... I have a hard time looking at it very long though, it makes my willy feel funny :oops:
What do you think we can buy that is made today, and will still be operational in a 100 years and worthy of restoring?

Lots of things, as long as they don’t have an operating system, batteries, a touch screen, require gasoline, or need wifi connectivity. So 99% of the manufactured items in my house will be worthless.

Yup, I am pretty sure that if we want it to last, we'll have to make whatever it is in our own shops. In my case on machines that are already pushing a 100 years and more.....

That is truly beautiful!

My bride even likes it!

I think it's worth every penny of the ask but..... I'd never get that value out if it.
