Vise jaw grooves

On my drill press I have vertical and horizontal v grooves on the back jaw that I find really helpful for holding round stock. How come they don't put these on a milling vise? 20210201_134629.jpg

You can get them. Probably Kurt style or clones are the most prevalent. Other flavors of jaws too if you got the moola.
