Before anyone hops in the car because of the price, its a real stretch imo to call that a metal lathe. It's an odd sort of round way arrangement and not made with any great precision.

They are imo a woodworking lathe, perhaps the slideway was for pattern making? Anyway...one passed through my hands briefly (maybe that one) and unless you want a small woodworking lathe, disappointment awaits at trader Wayne's :)
