Vehicle Replaced Coil Springs: Uses?

Hey all, replacing my Honda Odyssey rear springs tonight. I know they are typically high carbon steel. Should I keep them and use them for other projects like not as a spring?

I've always wanted to do this with an old pair of coil springs.

Edit. I just realized you probably meant leaf springs not coil.

Leaf or coil, pretty much any blacksmith will take them off your hands. Good carbon content, convenient size.

Ok. That's what I was figuring: forge, (power) hammer, anvil, etc. A little more than I am willing to get into at this time as space is at a premium BUT I think I will keep them for a while. They are heavy buggers yet compact.

The repair went extremely well and quick for a first time. Replaced the shocks too. Got a 3+ hour drive towing the boat this weekend that I needed this done for.
