Touch DRO ESP flashing

Thought I would start a thread on the Touch DRO so we have a way to centralize information. I understand there are a few others that are going the TouchDRO route with the board designed by @slow-poke.

It took a long time for me to figure out how to flash the ESP chip. I am not a programmer and there was lots of bad information on the net.

Here is a link to the instructions that worked for me (top post) : https://www.hobby-machinist.com/threads/esp32-upload-issues-solved.103007/

When I first connected my unit to the Accu-rite scales on my mill, every time I changed direction of feed on the X axis the display would jump by 0.500". The Y axis did not do this. I played around for a while, and corresponded back and forth with @slow-poke, but couldn't figure out what was going on. I finally posted on H-M, and Yuri suggested creating a new configuration and that fixed the problem. I can't say what the issue was, only that the new config solved it.

Something to keep in mind.
