Is everybody adding one of these Wazer desktop waterjets to their 2020 Christmas list? Or maybe they are waiting for the affordable desktop laser jet that will cut 3/8 steel to come out?

The new Wazer desktop waterjet

It looks like it would be way better to find a local shop with a real waterjet and just pay to have parts cut for you. The Wazer uses a 4900 psi water jet (about 1/10th the pressure for a real waterjet) so the abrasive use is way higher and the cut speed is way slower than a real waterjet .
In looking through the specs for the Wazer they include some examples of things they have made. To make a bicycle belt drive system from aluminium - two sprockets from 0.19" and a spacer and coupler from 0.065" took almost 3 hours and used 55 lb of garnet abrasive. They figure that will cost $85 in consumables (cheaper if you buy abrasive by the tonne). Seems like the high cost of consumables makes is even less attractive.
