Okay this is the defacto thank you thread.

I can't recall who told me about it, but someone on the forum mentioned "wifi calling" to cure my poor cell signal issues and missing half my incoming calls and not being able to hear most calls I get because of the signal is so bad the voice is garbled.

Well, after running my errand this afternoon I finally got around to getting a new sim card to allow me to use wifi calling, and set it up with my provider.

So to whomever you are, and it was likely more than one of you, Thank YOU so much. Within mere minutes I got my first call, "suspected spam"

But within just one more minute I got a call from my brother, who I can never normally converse with due to terrible call quality... but now, clear as a bell. So sincerely, thanks to all the helpful people on this forum.

A very big THANK YOU :-) to all those who keep this Forum running/operating so seamlessly/consistently and easy for us like-minded hobby guys to enjoy. I particularly like how easy it is to add a picture to a thread. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. The Forum started in the west, but has grown to include many more than us Canadians. Thanks Calgary!

This is the first (and only) forum I have joined. A couple of years ago, I wanted help when trying to buy a mill. I got it in spades. I continue to learn from the Forum as I expand my knowledge/enjoyment of metalworking.

Thanks
Craig

I would not even know where to start to start Thanking contributors to forums like this. I frequent a few forums, based on which hobby I am active in for that moment, and could not have achieved anywhere near the satisfaction from my projects, were it not for the input from perfect strangers across Canada, and in my other forums, around the world.

I well acknowledge that I do not contribute much to forums. If I start following one, then it is because I googled a question that lead me to it, therefore, am not the one with knowledge. From there, well, learning happens,, but sometimes, particularly on this forum, actual friendships too. I feel like I am a well rounded technical guy, eager to tackle new projects. But then I come here and get humbled by the level of knowledge from the general membership. Every technical avenue is covered here. Someone or many, know a lot about what I am doing or attempting and is ready to assist.

So, Thank you, all of you, who, despite shaking your head at some of my posts, give me some input, direction, a resource,.... when really a slap in the back of the head may be more appropriate.... I have friends here on the ground that do that slapping....uhhh...physical guidance....;)

Cheers to all of you.

PS Great idea @JustaDB ( I could be wrong, but I suspect your intention was to name individuals who helped on a particular topic. If so, that list is too long for me to start, so I will just remain general in that everyone, it seems, helps me at some point, when they can)
