You Windsor guys…
(Do we have anybody down that way? Some of the best stuff in Ontario around there)

Windsor is only an hour away for me. I'm half way between London and Windsor. But I get to Windsor more often.

I sent him a message. I have the mid sized one and would like the small one and big one.

This took a strange twist.

After I got there, I discovered that he is selling whatever isn't paying for itself to pay the rent and heating cuz his business has dried up and he is a single father with two teenage girls.

So I didn't negotiate with him, I just gave him his ask for the two heads. For his part, he gave me a few things he can't use or sell - including another 8mm tap....... LOL!

He does laser cutting up to 1/2". I asked him if he ever considered opening a send-cut-send type business. I think he would be willing to do that but he has to support a big 4.5K Watt Laser and a big shop, and I'm not sure a bunch of small jobs would cut that. Anyway, he isn't giving up yet, but he has to pay the rent and all the daily costs.

I got his contact info if anyone on here wants to reach out to explore send-cut-send type work with him - or anything else. I have no idea what he can do other than laser cut sheet steel, stainless, and aluminium to the dimensions in a dxf file and I doubt he is setup to deal with small volume shipping and whatnot. His norm is big stuff for industry.

Really nice fellow.

I hadn't used a tapping head until my current job (13 years ago?).
Having used them, though, after projects with 100's of tapped holes, they're fantastic, and I wouldn't choose to be without.

As I mentioned above, I've got a 30X, which is for smaller stuff (I've used it down to 4-40, slightly nerve wracking the first few holes).
If that'd help on a project, I don't mind loaning it out, after a quick lesson.
