Stores that still Price Match?

I was at Canadian Tire to buy timer controls for our bathroom fans. Now that I've finally trained the family to run the fan after their shower/bath they walk off and leave them running until someone else comes along and turns them off:mad:. Checked online first. I liked the version that a local Canadian Tire sold. Got to the store and it wasn't the same switch as the image online. I remember seeing this exact same switch at Home Depot for $10 less. I asked a Canadian Tire staff person if they would price match and they said "no". Okay, so off to Home Depot I went. Found a "contractor's pack" of 2 for another savings of $4.98. Saved a total of $25 on 2 switches! Plus, there was an additional $5 "off energy discount" which would likely be applied regardless where you purchase the switch. <--- maybe I should've posted this in the cheap b*st*td's thread.....

I know that Home Depot still price matches because I did the exact opposite with a furnace thermostat purchase. Found one at Canadian Tire but ended up buying it at Home Depot after they priced matched plus 10% off (higher price at HD). CT still gets a lot of my money but I guess they can't afford to price match anymore? Apparently Walmart stopped price matching, too.

Just checked RONA and apparently they still price match plus 10% (read the conditions):
RONA price match

Glad you have the option to ask, even.

Us guys out in the sticks are usually just happy that the store has what I need or want, in stock.

Trying to save ten bucks (OK, $12.50, since only one was actually needed!) on a buy that requires $100 worth of gas to get to, is just stupid... From here.

HD and Lowes / Rona price match each other no issue.

I don't even know where local CT is and have not been to Walmart in years. I have not been to BB in a decade - not sure they are still in business.

Yeah, that works well enough, when you live in a dump big enough to have all those competitors!

And, I say dump, because I have become VERY fond of living in places where I can shoot off the porch, or walk about my own lawn nekkid (seriously, nobody needs to see that!), without causing any concerns.

Not gonna claim that anyone around here does without, just that sometimes it costs a buck or seven more. But it's still cheaper than driving to where the supposed 'deals' are.
