Metal Storage for longer stock

Most of my metal stock is very short pieces...which is perfect since I mostly work on small projects! But, I have a few pieces of stock in the 4 to 8 foot range. Until now, they've just been leaning in a jumble in a corner behind my mill-drill. No longer!

The hooks are cheap 'Garage Storage Hooks' from Amazon [1]. The bottom row of hooks are an extra 3/4" out from the wall so the pieces lean both back and to the right. I left some space in the corner for the shorter but heavier stock to stand up out of the way.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this quick project. Now, if I need a piece of small steel hex, it is much easier to locate. And there is still enough space so I can squeeze around to raise/lower the head of the mill.
