  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Spindle/tailstock cleaner - anyone got a source for both?

I've found some BT30 wipers available locally/online and that should fit an R8 profile

Also was looking for MT2 & 3 cleaners; especially on the MT2, its hard to get to the back of the taper with my fingers Even the Asians dont sell these (that I can find)....sites I found are almost entirely out of UK/Europe

Anyone have a North American source without paying $100?!?
 
I bought one for the haas spindle at kms they could probably order in some or 3D print some with slots for some felt.
 
There's a vase cleaner you can buy at department stores, or a recorder cleaning mop at a music store. They are a wound wire with polyester or cotton wadding on the end for about 4 " or 20 cm long
