Here is some cadmium-free 40% silver solder, made by Wolverine, which now belongs to Lucas-Milhaupt.

To establish fair pricing, I wrote to Lucas-Milhaupt, but they were of no help, declining to quote a price, and referring me to Linde near me, who have already failed to quote me a price. I therefore refer to Amazon, eBay, and McMaster-Carr, all of whom want a lot for this stuff:

The foregoing two examples are prices for 45% silver; as mine is 40%, I have adjusted my price accordingly (and reasonably, I think),

McMaster has the real 40% stuff. I've attached a shot of their page. They want $USD79.79 for 2.5 feet, plus shipping, plus duty, plus GST plus maybe brokerage, etc..

I can sell my silver solder for $CDN60.00/Troy ounce (no cadmium, no HST, either), which represents a significant saving. This gives you 2.5 feet of 3/32" wire.

I won't cheat you; I'll make sure that you get a full Troy ounce ( 31.2 grams).
