  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. Yes. Watched that way back when I started. But given my background in machine automation I really want a tool carousel and tool changer and that means the draw bar has to be computer controlled. The compressed spring disks for TTS tooling along with a pneumatic cylinder are workable but non-functional for removing R8 tools.
It's the mix that no one has addressed AFAIK.
And as you know I'm big on really deep rabbit holes with lots of side passages.
 
I bought this power drawbar off ebay and it has worked really well. I had to machine some custom standoffs for it as the ones included didn’t work very well and were poorly made.
