Perfect Machine Company 10" lathe

Just purchased an old 10" lathe that I can find very little info on. Made by the Perfect Machine Company in Ontario, looks to be from somewhere between 1917 and 1923. I bought it cheap as the guys wife was evicting it from the garage, came with a taper attachment and a set of 17 collets. Looking for a pic of how the motor was mounted as that is the biggest issue. Rest is in nice shape with about 75% of the factory scraping still visible.

The Vintage Machinery website has a short piece on it. The company was only in business between 1914 and 1923. Probably not many lathes were manufactured. So an old lathe and a rarity.

Thanks, that is the one and only piece of info I was able to find.

It may have been run off a line-shaft. Motorizing might take some custom cobble-fabulating..

That's a very good point as there's no mount visible and the pics I have found show no belt attached. Fabricating stuff is what I do best.
