Ottawa area BBQ and swap meet this Summer

Not sure how many hobby machinists we have in/near Ottawa

Just wondering if there is any interest in a BBQ style meetup this summer in the Ottawa area?

I could host the event if there is interest.

possibly but my summers are typically very busy with an elderly father, camping, gf, work and some road trips (when can find care for my father). I would still make time if I can

I'd be interested, timing is better if not on a long weekend (other plans and activities with family) but otherwise I'm game.

The first two Toronto meetups were low key barbeques. It's a good way to get your feet wet and strengthen contacts.

I have a pretty light social calendar these days so thats probably fine.
