This came through my Crackbook feed from Bench Top Metal Lathes & Mills Or home shops
" Mix of resin and fdm printing. 1:12 Bridgeport milling machine series 1 "

Ath first, I thought...maybe it's just some hack with photoshop using old BP marketing material?
The 60's-70's black n white photo work is what made me question
hmm...nope...they didn't have hoodies like that in the 60's OR 70's...lol

That's really a cool toy! It even has the x-axis power feed. I wonder if it works..... In fact I wonder if the spindle works?

Prolly not practical even if they do but it would look great in the bride's China cabinet....... NOT!

I would assume that everything works as it should. (maybe not the power feed)

Here's an obit for someone who built a whole shop worth of machines that ran off steam. It includes great picture of the various machines he built. https://craftsmanshipmuseum.com/artisan/al-osterman/

The kits can be purchased from PM Research, and Joe Pie has a video or two of the kits he has built.

Here's a video of the working machine shop:

The level of precision needed to build something like this is truly amazing and I would love to be able to build a kit from them year from now. Before my eyesight is totally gone.

The one that always amazes me is this 1/6 scale Duesenberg. Because I love math. SJ is 420 cu in SOHC straight 8, 95mm bore. So at 1:6 scale, the pistons are roughly 15mm. That means the valves are about 6mm, and the valve stems are maybe 1mm. So the valve stem keeper groove is 0.1mm-ish deep, probably less. And the keepers are the size of a cookie crumb.
