Any one have a copy of this publication? According to Harold Hall it contains plans for split vises that I would be interested in making. Don't need your copy, just PDF scans of the appropriate pages.

There is another article in http://www.homeshopmachinist.net somewhere but I can't locate it.

I know I bought a big (well for me) kurt style vise that opens wide" and more if you move the jaw onto the back of the movable jaw. Best tooling I ever purchased. I can hold anything practically now - haven't used the clamp down kit hardly at all since. It was $500 and made everything so much easier to do.
