  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. That company came through my FB feed, never have too many suppliers.
I am lucky enough to have a plastic supply company in my back yard, but wow are they ever expensive.

Cheers

I ordered 2 ft of DOM tubing for a ring roller project. Total cost was $26 delivered.
I couldn’t get it locally so that was reasonable to me.

Yeah, I just looked at their prices and my eyes popped out even without shipping. Maybe for stuff that you cannot get locally - but most things that I cannot get locally I can get way, way, way cheaper off eBay.ca.

These guys make metal supermarket look cheap and affordable.

Just for clarification
- I meant my local source is very expensive -

I have a feeling plastics are getting up there, everywhere, justified or not.

Regards

All the eBay sellers I see are US based and often don't ship to Canada. What eBay sellers do you use @Tom Kitta?

I do not order from them , but I ask for price including transport on a appx 2 pounds order and they charge $25 for transportation.
