Looking for a set of change gears for a King 1022 lathe

I purchased a used King 1022 but there are no change gears for thread cutting only the set for turning. I have tried a search but really have not found much. I emailed King to see if they can supply a set but am figuring it might be the cost of a lathe to purchase from them. If someone has a set or can point me in the right location it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

And further to @David 's comments, you can also cut steel or brass gears. It isn't hard to do. It's really just a matter of getting the right gear cutting set for your lathe. They are readily available.

I have some change gears to something. Came with my Mill, the guy was selling a small lathe at the same time and they made their way home with me hidden in a box.

Don't need them, but not sure they would work for you. Can't tell you much more. Unfortunately they are in long term storage for the next two months (at least)

My guess is the Grizzly 10x22 is very similar. The Busy Bee parts drawing is quite different, while King & Grizzly drawings are identical. Parts from Grizzly tend to be cheaper than BB or King, but as an example the 127-tooth gear from Grizzly is $58 US.

If you end up having to buy a complete set of gears, @jcdammeyer ’s ELS electronic lead screw will be much cheaper than a set of gears, and way more versatile.

Thanks for the info. I just started to look at the electronic leadscrew and think it us the way to go. I just installed a vfd drive and dro on my mill so looks like tge way to go.
See not getting the original gears will turn into a blessing in disguise. I hope to someday put an ELS on my Craftex 10x22 but I haven't figured out yet which one is best for me.
