Little Giant Ram Lug

Crosche

Super User
Hi All,

Anyone have any suggestions on how to rebuild the lug on this Little Giant trip hammer ram? Should I cut it off completely or weld in a plug....not really sure where to start.

Cheers,

Chad

The points above are very good ideas. Clean it well and check for damage that is hidden (cracks painted over). I f there are issues those would need to be addressed. If the material is sound, I suggest doing sa little as possible. A sleeping option would be good. Consider a minimal over size hole and make a new pin? If the integrity is good, and you want it to be prettier, then epoxy fill (JB Weld) profile and paint.
